Louis Cooper Jr. and his family were honored by the Port of Tacoma Commission.

Louis P. Cooper, Jr., joined by his family, was recognized by the Commission for his 18 years of service.

Port of Tacoma commissioners on September 19 unanimously approved a proclamation for National Hispanic Heritage Month, which calls on the people of Pierce County to recognize the achievements of the Hispanic/Latino community. 

They received an annual update on the activities of World Trade Center Tacoma and heard a briefing on Port of Tacoma budget priorities and capital investments. 

Commissioners honored Louis P. Cooper, Jr., who recently retired as the Port’s security director.
