Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted as follows:

  • The North Intermodal Yard lift surcharge will increase from $0.74 to $0.76 per lift, effective May 24.
  • The gate charge Port-operated terminals surcharge will increase from $0.74 to $0.76 per lift, effective May 24.
  • The straddle carrier rental surcharge will increase from $7.43 to $7.58 per hour, effective May 31.

These charges are based on fuel costs for Port of Tacoma straddle carriers between April 19 and May 16. The fuel surcharge will be reviewed again June 19.
