Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted as follows:

• The North Intermodal Yard lift surcharge will increase from $0.76 to $0.81 per lift, effective June 28.
• The gate charge Port-operated terminals surcharge will <span>increase from $0.76 to $0.81 per lift, effective June 28.​
• The straddle carrier rental surcharge will increase from $7.58 to $8.05 per hour, effective July 1.

These charges are based on fuel costs for Port of Tacoma straddle carriers between May 17 and June 20. The fuel surcharge will be reviewed again July 23.
