At their December meeting, Port of Tacoma Commissioners designated commission officer positions for the upcoming year, with John McCarthy serving as commission president and Dick Marzano as vice president for 2025. The commission president also serves as co-chair of The Northwest Seaport Alliance.

2025 Port of Tacoma Commission officer positions:  

• President: Commissioner John McCarthy  

• Vice President: Commissioner Dick Marzano  

• Secretary: Commissioner Don Meyer  

• First Assistant Secretary: Commissioner Deanna Keller  

• Second Assistant Secretary: Commissioner Kristin Ang
