Commissioner Don Meyer is honored with a commemorative photo alongside fellow commissioners during his retirement celebration on December 16, 2025.
Port of Tacoma Commissioners on December 16 approved authorizations related to remediation of Parcel 40 and approved an early lease termination for Afar Logistics. They deferred consideration of an independent review of the Commission’s code of governance and conduct to the February 18 meeting.
Commissioners heard a year-end real estate update, and briefings about the 2026 Commission slate of officers and Commission boards and workgroups.
They also honored retiring Commissioner Don Meyer.
