1 day left to reserve your seat for March 25 Port of Tacoma Annual Breakfast

You have 1 day left to register for the March 25 Port of Tacoma Annual Breakfast that will showcase a “new game, new team” as we work to form a Seaport Alliance with the Port of Seattle.

Hear more about our bold regional approach to the unprecedented change facing the international container industry.

Eric Boles, president of The Game Changers Inc. and a thought leader in business strategies, will provide the keynote address. Prior to becoming an authority on leadership, teamwork, and leading and managing change, the Tacoma native learned high performance principles from his experiences playing in the National Football League with the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers.

CEO John Wolfe also will provide an update on the Port, and commissioners will honor Summit Award winners.

The Summit Awards recognize Port customers and tenants for outstanding contributions to Port business and our community in three categories of leadership:

  • Business Magnet recognizes business development efforts or investments that led to an increase in business volume or new business opportunities for the Port, and had a positive economic impact for Pierce County citizens.
  • Environmental Stewardship recognizes a project, program or initiative that promoted sustainability in Pierce County, and honors biodiversity and the interconnected nature of industry, people, wildlife and natural systems.
  • Livable Community recognizes a project, program or initiative that demonstrated the business community’s positive contribution to Pierce County through social responsibility.

This year’s Summit Award nominees include American Construction Company, Calbag Metals, Harley Marine Services, Regal Logistics, Tacoma Propeller Club, Tacoma Youth Marine Foundation, Seafarer’s Center, Washington United Terminals and Yusen Logistics.
