Beginning Sept. 21 and continuing through October, Taylor Way from East 11th Street to approximately 1,500 feet south (~1/2 way between E. 11th and Lincoln Avenue) will be closed to through traffic for roadway demolition and paving. Local access will be maintained. Detours are in place via Alexander Avenue.
Expect delays: On Sept. 9 and 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Hylebos Bridge will be reduced to one lane, with flagger controlled alternating one-way traffic, for bridge testing.
