The Port of Tacoma handles a variety of vessels and cargoes. The tariff document includes the rates, charges, rules and regulations for services performed by participating terminals at the Port.

Vessel berthing application

Fuel surcharge notification - April 25, 2012
Due to the cost of fuel, the fuel surcharge for the Port of Tacoma straddle carriers will be adjusted April 25 as follows:

  • North Intermodal Yard lift surcharge will increase from $1.16 to $1.22 per lift, effective April 28.
  • The Port-operated terminals gate charge will increase from $1.16 to $1.22 per lift, effective April 28.
  • Straddle carrier rental surcharge will increase from $11.63 to $12.24 per hour, effective May 1.
  • Based on fuel costs for Port of Tacoma straddle carriers from March 24 to April 20.
  • To be reviewed May 19, with notification May 23.
