How do I apply?
To apply for a current job opening, log on to the Port's online application system. You will be able to upload your resume, cover letter and references during this process.
Please note: An online application MUST be submitted to be considered for employment with the Port of Tacoma. Hard copy applications and resumes are no longer accepted.
First time user?
When accessing the system for the first time, you need to create a username and password. This allows you to access the system to securely enter personal information, upload a resume and complete the Port's job application. Once you create an account, your information will be saved for future use.
Tips when applying:
If you have problems accessing the system, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Persons with disabilities who need special accomodations for the application process should contact the human resources department at 253-592-6757 or email@example.com.
My application is submitted, what's next?
Applicants may view their submitted job application, update their profile information and confirm jobs applied for by returning to the online application.
To track where a position is in the hiring process, you may view the "filing status" located on the current job openings page.
